Dear Customer,
We request you to check below terms and conditions before confirming or making payment to Travel n Tales. Below are rules and policies applicable to all reservations unless specified by our booking agent in writing.
Do not make any payment or accept any booking unless you understand and agree with our terms and conditions. Your ticket/service will only be issued once you have acknowledged and agreed to these terms and conditions. In case, if the customer will make payment without giving acknowledgement, then we will issue the ticket considering that the customer makes the payment after reading the terms and conditions.
We request you to check the itinerary date, travel sector, name as per passport (if the passenger doesn’t have the last name in passport, please reconfirm name format with our booking agent) and all terms & conditions properly.
1. Name Policy
- Name spelling must be the same as per the passport.
2. Passport and Visa policy
- Passport must be valid for 6 months from date of departure (on return date also).
- Travel n tales bears no visa obligations or responsibility, so request customers to check requirements before travel.
3. Fare Guarantee
- Advised fares are guaranteed for the same day or fare expiry, whichever is earlier (sometimes airlines change fare without notice and in that case, Travel n tales will not bear any loss).
- The room inventory status is always dynamic in nature, due to which an availability check will need to be performed after receiving your advance payment.
4. Change fee and cancellation
- All bookings will attract INR 1000/per person per person plus any difference and airline change fee at the time of rebooking
- In case of refund Travel n tales will charge INR1000/per person in addition to airline charges.
- No-show fees applicable additional to above fees in case customer is no-show.
5. Schedule Change
- Travel n tales is not liable for any schedule change or cancellation of operations by the airline. In case of a schedule change by the Airline (International and Domestic), there will be admin fees of INR1000/per person applicable in addition to any cancellation fee of the airline (if the airline gives a waiver for refund or changes).
- We request customers to contact the airline or Travel n tales prior to departure to ensure there is no change to the scheduled departure time. In case of a last-minute change, customers need to request a new schedule at the airport counter.
- Our liability is limited if the tour/transport is disrupted in the event of fires, explosions caused by earthquakes, drought, tidal waves, floods termed as an Act of GOD; in the event of hostilities, war or to be declared war, invasion of foreign enemies, embargo, rebellion, riot, commotion, strikes, go slows, lock outs, revolution or civil war, or acts or threats of terrorism, radio activity leak due to nuclear fuel etc. No compensation can be given as the circumstances are beyond our control / authorities.
6. Changes/cancelation policy due to customer covid infected
- Our change and cancellation fees: subject to airline covid19 waiver policy and remedy rights under the consumer guarantees act, the following change, cancellation, and processing fees apply to all bookings (including online bookings and bookings made with a consultant): Each change/cancellation to a domestic booking will incur a processing fee INR1000/per person per booking in addition to airline waiver policy.
- Each change/cancellation to an international booking will incur a processing fee of INR 1000 per passenger in addition to the airline waiver policy (if Airline give waiver for refund). The above servicing fees are non-refundable for changes of mind or cancellations by you (subject to your rights under the India consumer law).
7. Special Request
- Any special request for a meal, seat, wheelchair, bassinet, etc. need to request at least 72 hours prior to your departure. Whenever you request any special service, please double check in your booking whether it’s updated or not else please call us immediately. Any complimentary service is not guaranteed as it is subject to availability.
- If you are traveling with combination fares of two or more airlines, our travel agency is not responsible for any delays. Please also check the baggage allowance with your travel consultant.
8. Supplier
- We act as an agent for and sell various travel related products as agents on behalf of, numerous transport, accommodation, and other service providers, such as airlines, coach, rail, and cruise line operators, as well as all of our wholesalers. Any services we provide to you are collateral to that agency relationship. Our obligation to you is to (and you expressly authorize us to) make travel bookings on your behalf and to arrange relevant contracts between you and travel service providers. We exercise care in the selection of reputable service providers, but we are not ourselves a provider of travel services and have no control over, or liability for, the services provided by third parties.
- All bookings are made on your behalf subject to the terms and conditions, including conditions of carriage and limitations of liability, imposed by these service providers. Specifically, if for any reason (excluding fault on our part) any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted, your rights are against that provider and not against us.
9. Travel Insurance
- Travel n tales strongly recommends travel insurance to protect you from unforeseen circumstances throughout your journey.
10. Taxes
- Any taxes or charges imposed by the government or airport authorities are payable by passengers. These are either included in the fare amount or to be paid upon arrival or departure in local currency at the airport of arrival or departure. In case of cancellation/refund many taxes are non-refundable.
11. Credit Card Transactions
- If for any reason, any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted, your remedy lies against the provider, and not against Travel n tales and in that event that payment has been made to Travel n tales by credit card, you agree that you will not seek to chargeback your payment from Travel n tales.
- In case of chargeback, the customer is liable to pay money to Travel n tales and claim money directly from the merchant/operator.
- In case of any refund/changes CC surcharge is non-refundable.
12. Refund time frame
- As we are working as an intermediary between service provider and customer. Airlines process the refund to consolidator/wholesaler’s/ customer credit card not direct to Travel n tales account. Once Travel n tales receives a refund from consolidator/wholesalers, we need 2 working weeks to process the refund to the customer account.
- In case a refund is given in credit by the consolidator/wholesalers, then Travel n tales is not liable to give a refund to the customer in bank account/cash. Eco travel will provide some form of payment which is provided by the airline or supplier.
13. Travel starting from a third country (outside India)
- When a ticket is purchased in India for travel starting from the 3rd country. In case of a refund, Travel n tales will process the refund as per the current exchange rate, not as per the exchange rate when the ticket was purchased. Airlines issue all the fare in NUC (Equivalent USD) and NUC converted to the local currency of the travel origin country. If payment is made in a 3rd country, then the travel agency needs to convert the amount into local currency as per the current exchange rate. Airline process refund in local currency of the country of departure only.
