4. Vel in Sri Lanka
Feel the religious culture with the cultural festivals of Sri Lanka. Vel is Sri Lanka’s most important Hindu festival, reflecting the religious and cultural heritage of Hinduism. Dedicated to the war god Skandha, the festivities commemorate the victory over evil forces and worship his trident, the vel.
